Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, filed the instant civil rights action under 42
18
U.S.C. § 1983 against officials at California State Prison, Sacramento located in Represa,
19
California. Because Represa lies within the venue of the Eastern District of California, venue
20
properly lies in that district and not in this one. See 28 U.S.C. § 1391(b). Accordingly, this case
21
is TRANSFERRED to the Eastern District of California. See 28 U.S. C. § 1406(a).

The Clerk shall terminate any pending motions and transfer the entire file to the Eastern
23
District of California.
