C/O HEATH, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with this civil rights 18 action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On May 1, 2017, plaintiff filed a Motion to Appoint 19 Counsel. See ECF 93. The court finds that appointment of counsel for plaintiff is warranted for 20 the limited purpose of assisting plaintiff with preparing for and participating in a settlement 21 conference and will partially grant plaintiff’s motion for that purpose. Michael E. Vinding has 22 been selected from the court’s pro bono attorney panel to represent plaintiff and has agreed to be 23 appointed. 24 Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 25 1. Plaintiff’s Motion to Appoint Counsel, ECF No. 93, is granted in part. 26 2. Michael E.
