This matter came before the court on November 14, 2014, for the hearing of plaintiff’s

18

October 16, 2014, motion to compel (Dkt. No. 29) and plaintiff’s motion regarding the terms of a

19

protective order. (Dkt. No. 31.) Attorney Furah Faruqui appeared on behalf of the defendants

20

and plaintiff Frederick Cooley appeared on his own behalf.

Upon consideration of the arguments on file and at the hearing, and for the reasons set
forth on the record at the hearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
1. Plaintiff’s motion to compel (Dkt. No. 29) and motion regarding the terms of a

protective order (Dkt. No. 31) are granted as stated on the record at the November 14, 2014

hearing;

2. Within 30 days, defendants shall produce to plaintiff responsive documents for

27

the prior ten years or submit some, or all, of those documents to the court for in camera review if

28

necessary;
