Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, has filed a civil rights complaint pursuant to
18
42 U.S.C. § 1983 together with a request for leave to proceed in forma pauperis pursuant to 28
19
U.S.C. § 1915. Plaintiff, who is presently incarcerated at Calipatria State Prison, challenges
20
actions that allegedly occurred at California State Prison Corcoran where he was previously
21
incarcerated. The alleged constitutional violations took place in Fresno County, which is part of
22
the Fresno Division of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. See
23
Local Rule 120(d). Pursuant to Local Rule 120(f), a civil action may, on the court’s own motion,
24
be transferred to the proper division of the court. Therefore, this action will be transferred to the
25
Fresno Division of this court. In light of 1996 amendments to 28 U.S.C. § 1915, this court will
26
not rule on plaintiff’s request to proceed in forma pauperis.

Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1. This court has not ruled on plaintiff’s request to proceed in forma pauperis;

2. This action is transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of
