The extension is necessary because the undersigned 27 attorney for Defendant has unexpectedly been on leave since September 21, 2015, due to a medical 28 emergency. 1 1 2 There have been two prior extensions in this case: one extension for filing Plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment, and one extension for filing Defendant’s motion for summary judgment. 3 4 5 Defendant’s motion was previously due on or before September 25, 2015; the new deadline would be October 26, 2015.
