Plaintiff, proceeding through counsel, commenced this action on December 16, 2014, by
24
filing a complaint and paying the required filing fee. (Dkt. No. 1.) On July 12, 2016, judgment
25
was entered. (Dkt. No. 31.) On August 8, 2016, plaintiff filed a motion to proceed in forma
26
pauperis. (Dkt. No. 35.) That same day the assigned District Judge referred to the undersigned
27
the resolution of plaintiff’s motion to proceed in forma pauperis. (Dkt. No. 36.)

The undersigned finds that plaintiff’s in forma pauperis application makes the showing
required by the statute.
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that plaintiff’s August 8, 2016 motion to

proceed in forma pauperis (Dkt. No. 35) is granted.
