Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights
17

action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff initiated this action on March 27, 2015, and filed a
19
first amended complaint on December 1, 2015. Plaintiff’s first amended complaint was screened
20
on April 20, 2016, and found to state a claim against defendants Cherniss, Olmedo, and Duffy.
21
On July 27, 2016, defendants filed an Answer. Plaintiff has now filed a motion to file a second
22
amended complaint, which the defendants do not oppose.
23
Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:
24
1. Plaintiff’s August 3, 2016, motion to amend (ECF No. 20) is granted; and
