Plaintiff, a prisoner proceeding pro se, brings this civil rights action under 42

U.S.C. § 1983. Before the Court is Defendants’ motion for leave to conduct Plaintiff’s deposition
19
via videoconference. ECF No. 45. Defendants indicate that the Court’s original discovery order
20
(ECF No. 39) permits depositions but does not mention videoconferencing. Id. at 1. A remote
21
deposition, Defendants argue, would avoid unnecessary risk of exposure to COVID-19. Id. at 2.
For good cause shown, Defendants’ motion for leave to take Plaintiff’s deposition
