McCORD, et. al., 16 Defendants. 17 / 18 Plaintiff, a prisoner proceeding pro se, brings this civil rights action pursuant to 19 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Pending before the court is plaintiff’s motion for leave to proceed in forma 20 pauperis (Doc. 9) and motion for an extension of time in which to file his application for leave to 21 proceed in forma pauperis (Doc. 7). 22 As plaintiff has submitted his application, his request for additional time in which 23 to do so (Doc. 7) is granted and his application is deemed timely filed. Plaintiff has also 24 submitted the affidavit required by 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a) showing that plaintiff is unable to prepay 25 /// 26 /// 1 1 fees and costs or give security therefor.
