Defendant originally removed the 20 case under 28 USC § 1332 based on diversity of citizenship between the parties (ECF 21 No. 1). As Defendant explains in her unopposed motion, however, because Defendant 22 is a citizen of California, such removal was improper under 28 USC § 1441(b)(2) (more 23 commonly known as the “forum defendant rule”). 24 /// 25 /// 26 /// 27 /// 28 /// Order 1 1 Good cause having been shown, the Court hereby GRANTS Defendant’s motion 2 (ECF No. 4).
