IGBINOSA, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis, seeks relief pursuant to 17 18 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On January 20, 2017, the complaint was dismissed, and plaintiff was granted 19 leave to amend. (ECF No. 13.) Plaintiff’s amended complaint is now before the court for 20 screening. (ECF No. 20.) See 28 U.S.C. § 1915A(a). Plaintiff has consented to Magistrate Judge 21 jurisdiction over all proceedings this action. (ECF No. 6.) Having reviewed the amended complaint, the undersigned concludes that it fails to cure 22 23 the defects of the original complaint as discussed in the January 20, 2017 screening order, or state 24 a cognizable claim against any defendant. Because it appears that another round of amendment 25 //// 26 //// 27 //// 28 //// 1 1 2 3 would be futile, the undersigned will dismiss this action without prejudice. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that this action is dismissed without prejudice. Dated: March 20, 2017 _____________________________________ CAROLYN K.
