SULLIVAN, Warden, 15 Respondent. 16 Petitioner brings this action in pro se. The matter was referred to this United States 17 18 Magistrate Judge pursuant to Local Rule 302(c)(21). On June 30, 2017 respondent filed a motion to dismiss the petition. ECF No. 10. On July 19 20 14, 2017 this court granted a 30 day extension of time to petitioner to respond to that motion, 21 declaring his Opposition due to be filed on or before August 29, 2017. ECF No. 13. No 22 opposition or statement of non-opposition, as required by the Local Rules of this District has been 23 filed by petitioner. 24 In light of the foregoing it is hereby ordered that: 25 1. Petitioner shall show cause within fifteen (15) days of this Order why his failure to 26 file his opposition as ordered should not be deemed a waiver of any opposition to the granting of 27 the motion, or he shall file an opposition. 28 //// 1 1 2 2.
