On April 25, 2018, the magistrate judge filed findings and recommendations herein which

were served on the parties and which contained notice that any objections to the findings and
18
recommendations were to be filed within fourteen days. Despite an extension of time granted to
19
plaintiff, no objections were filed.

The court has reviewed the applicable legal standards and, good cause appearing,
concludes that it is appropriate to adopt the proposed Findings and Recommendations in full.

Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that:
23
1. The proposed Findings and Recommendations filed April 25, 2018, are ADOPTED.

2. Defendants James Dawson and Trilla Bahrke’s motion to dismiss (ECF No. 4) is
25
granted and all claims against them are dismissed without leave to amend.

3. Defendants North Tahoe Fire Protection District, Todd Conradson, and Scott
27
Sedgwick’s motion to dismiss (ECF No. 5) is granted and all claims against them are dismissed
28
with leave to amend.
