Under F.R.C.P. 17(c) the court must appoint a 28 guardian ad litem or issue another appropriate order to protect a minor or incompetent person STIPULATION TO EXTEND TIME TO RESPOND TO SECOND AMENDED COMPLAINT Page - 1 1 who is unrepresented in an action. Accordingly, the parties agree and stipulate that the Plaintiffs 2 should have additional time to file a Motion seeking the appointment of a guardian ad litem to 3 represent the interests of the minor children in this litigation. The parties further agree and 4 stipulate that Defendants should not be required to file a responsive pleading until the court has 5 entered an order appointing a guardian ad litem for the minors herein.
