Plaintiff is a state prisoner, proceeding pro se. On July 15, 2021, defendant V. Kieu filed a

motion for extension of time to file a responsive pleading. Upon consideration, and good cause

21

appearing defendant’s motion is granted. Defendant V. Kieu shall file a responsive pleading on

22

or before August 11, 2021. Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that:

1. Defendant’s motion for an extension of time (ECF No. 30) is granted; and

24

2. Defendant V. Kieu shall file a responsive pleading on or before August 11, 2021.
