CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND REHABILITATION, et al., 16 Respondent. 17 Petitioner, proceeding pro se, has filed a habeas corpus action pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 18 19 § 2254. 20 The petition challenges the actions of the California Department of Corrections and 21 Rehabilitation and the California Medical Facility that affected Petitioner’s parole and resulted in 22 Petitioner being held in custody past his release date. The California Medical Facility is located in 23 Vacaville, California, which is part of Solano County and the Sacramento Division of the United 24 States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Therefore, the petition should have 25 been filed in the Sacramento Division. 26 Pursuant to Local Rule 120(f), a civil action which has not been commenced in the proper 27 court may, on the Court’s own motion, be transferred to the proper court. Therefore, this action 28 will be transferred to the Sacramento Division. 1 1 Good cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that: 2 1. This action is transferred to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of 3 California sitting in Sacramento; and 4 5 2.
