1 2 3 4 5 6 7 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 8 EASTERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 9 10 CURTIS LEE MORRISON, 11 Plaintiff, 12 v. Case No. 2:23-cv-0850-JDP (P) ORDER 13 GISELLE MATTESON, et al., 14 Defendants. 15 Plaintiff has filed a motion asking that this case be set for a settlement conference. ECF 16 17 No. 30. I have reviewed the docket and believe that at this time a settlement conference would be 18 unlikely to be productive. Accordingly, plaintiff’s request to set a settlement conference, ECF 19 No. 30, is denied without prejudice. If plaintiff still believes that a settlement conference would be beneficial after the court 20 21 issues a decision on any forthcoming dispositive motions, he may renew this request. 22 IT IS SO ORDERED. 23 24 25 26 27 28 Dated: March 5, 2025 JEREMY D. PETERSON UNITED STATES MAGISTRATE JUDGE
