Defendant Ifftikhar Wahla Trustee of Ifftikhar Wahla & Llea Wahla Trust has answered

the First Amended Complaint. (ECF No. 6) Defendants Maria Bridges and Airhoster LLC, a
21
California Limited Liability Corporation, have not appeared and have a Clerk’s Entry of Default
22
entered against each of them. (ECF No. 13.) Within 21 days from the date of this order, the
23
parties shall meet, in person or by telephone, as required by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26.
24
Within 7 days after the parties’ Rule 26 meeting, the parties shall file a Joint Status Report 1 for
25
the purpose of the court’s entry of a pretrial scheduling order. The joint status report shall address
26
the relevant portions of Local Rule 240(a).

If the parties are unable to file a joint status report, they may file separate status reports.

In accordance with the above, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED:

1. Within 21 days from the date of this order, the parties shall meet, in person or by
3
telephone, as required by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26.

2. Within 7 days after the parties’ Rule 26 discussion, the parties shall file a joint status
5
report and request for hearing before the Magistrate Judge for the purpose of entry of a pretrial
6
scheduling order. The report shall address the following matters:
7
a. Service of process;
8
b. Possible joinder of additional parties;
9
c. Any expected or desired amendment of the pleadings;
10
d. Jurisdiction and venue;
11
e. Anticipated motions and their scheduling;
12
f. The report required by Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26 outlining the
13
proposed discovery plan and its scheduling, including disclosure of expert witnesses;
14
g. Future proceedings, including setting appropriate cut−off dates for discovery
15
and law and motion, and the scheduling of a pretrial conference and trial;
16
h. Special procedures, if any;
17
i. Estimated trial time;
18
j. Modification of standard pretrial procedures specified by the rules due to the
19
simplicity or complexity of the proceedings;
20
k. Whether the case is related to any other cases, including bankruptcy;
21
l. Whether a settlement conference should be scheduled before another Magistrate
22
Judge;

m. The parties’ positions with respect to Voluntary Dispute Resolution (VDRP)
under Local Rule 271(d); and
