STIPULATION AND ORDER FOR FIRST

EMILIA BARDINI, ET AL.,
Defendants.

18
The Defendants respectfully request a first extension of time in which to respond to the
19 complaint, and counsel for Plaintiff does not oppose. In this case, Plaintiff alleges that U.S. Citizenship
20 and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) has unreasonably delayed scheduling an interview on her pending
21 asylum application, which she filed in 2015. USCIS has scheduled Plaintiff’s asylum re-interview for
22 February 24, 2025. The parties anticipate that this lawsuit will be rendered moot once USCIS completes
23 its adjudication of Plaintiff’s application following the successful complete of Plaintiff’s asylum re24 interview.

3 similarly extended.
