Plaintiffs and the Federal Defendants would like to explore the potential 3 to settle this case. Accordingly, the Federal Defendants hereby move this Court to extend the 4 5 6 7 8 responsive pleading deadline to February 20, 2012. In support of this motion, the Federal Defendants state as follows: 1. This is the first request for an extension of time in this case. 2. The motion is unopposed. 9 10 3.
