1 IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 2 FOR THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF CALIFORNIA 3 4 5 BRENT BECKWAY, 6 7 8 Plaintiff, NO. C07-5072 TEH v. DEPUTY PAUL DESHONG, et al., 9 ORDER REGARDING OBJECTIONS TO AWARD OF COSTS Defendants. 11 For the Northern District of California United States District Court 10 On February 28, 2012, Plaintiff lodged his objections to the bills of costs submitted by 12 Defendants in this matter. While objections to bills of costs are considered in the course of 13 completing a taxation of costs under Civil Local Rule 54, the content of Plaintiff’s motion 14 suggests that Plaintiff further intended his filing to constitute a motion to deny the award of 15 costs in this matter. 16 Should this indeed be Plaintiff’s intent, the Court directs Plaintiff to file the 17 appropriate Motion to Deny Costs with the Court no later than Monday, April 2, 2012, with 18 responses from Defendants to be due on Monday, April 16, 2012 and any reply from 19 Plaintiff filed on or before Monday, April 23, 2012. 20 21 IT IS SO ORDERED. 22 23 Dated: 3/27/2012 24 25 26 27 28 THELTON E. HENDERSON, JUDGE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
