ORDER EXCUSING ATTENDANCE
AT SETTLEMENT CONFERENCE
v.
15
GARRETT BOYD, et al.
16
Defendant(s).
17
18
Academy Escrow, Inc. and Sergei Klyazmin, and their claims
19
representatives, have requested to be excused from personally
20
attending the settlement conference. Their requests are not
21
timely and provide no cause other than the parties are out of
22
town. However, no other party has objected to these requests so
23
it may be that all parties have concluded that the personal
24
attendance of the requesting parties is not necessary for a
25
productive conference. It is therefore ORDERED that these
26
requests are GRANTED.
27
28
The court continues to be concerned that the parties are
not seriously committed to the settlement process, and if that
1
1
proves to be the case, the court will reschedule the conference
2
and issue appropriate sanctions.
