C 08-05167 JW In the Matter of Sortwell, Inc. 11 For the Northern District of California United States District Court 10 ORDER REQUESTING SUPPLEMENTAL JOINT STATEMENT 12 13 14 / Presently before the Court is the parties’ Joint/Stipulated Request for Case Management 15 Conference. (See Docket Item No. 50.) In their Stipulation the parties move the Court for an 16 Interim Case Management Conference to discuss amendment of the July 6, 2011 Preliminary Pretrial 17 Order,1 setting the case for trial, on the grounds that: (1) the time allotted each side is insufficient; 18 (2) a conflict exists with Defendant’s counsel for the set trial dates; and (3) the set schedule does not 19 address the issue of whether the limitation of liability claim pursuant to 46 U.S.C. §§ 30501, et seq. 20 should be bifurcated from the issue of Defendant’s damages. (Id. at 2.) 21 Upon review, although there may be good cause to amend the Court’s Preliminary Pretrial 22 Order, the Court cannot do so based on the parties’ Joint/Stipulated request at this time because it 23 lacks sufficient details.
