Pursuant to Civil L. R. 6-2 and 7-12, the parties submit the following stipulation and

[proposed] order requesting that the Case Management Conference currently set for February 4,

2014 be continued to March 20, 2014 or at such other time that the Court deems appropriate.

The parties respectfully submit this request to continue the Case Management Conference

5

because it would be more efficient for the parties and the Court to have the benefit of holding a

6

settlement conference—scheduled for March 13, 2014 before Magistrate Judge Vadas—before

7

discussing with this Court their progress on settlement discussion, the scope of remaining

8

necessary discovery based on those discussions, and if necessary, trial planning.
