SCHEDULING ORDER

On May 5, defendant Yao Wei Yeo — the only defendant remaining in the action — filed

13

a motion to set aside his default. The motion was noticed to be heard on June 9 in accordance

14

with the 35-day local motions calendar. Plaintiff’s pending motion for default judgment is

15

currently scheduled to be heard on May 19. The deadline for defendant Yeo to oppose plaintiff’s

16

motion has passed, but no opposition was filed. A jury trial is set to begin on June 16, with the

17

final pretrial conference on June 1. In order to consolidate and accommodate the hearings on the

18

two pending motions, all current dates and deadlines are hereby VACATED. The following new

19

schedule shall apply.

Defendant Yeo’s motion to set aside default and plaintiff’s motion for default judgment

21

will both be heard at 2:00 P.M. ON JUNE 9, 2011. Both motions shall be briefed in accordance

22

with this new hearing date. Thus, defendant Yeo will have another opportunity to oppose

23

plaintiff’s motion. The final pretrial conference will take place at 2:00 P.M. ON JUNE 20, 2011.

The jury trial will begin at 7:30 A.M. ON JUNE 27, 2011. These dates will not be changed any

25

more to accommodate additional motions.
