The Court has received, read, and considered Defendant's Ex Parte Application to Consolidate Related Cases for all Purposes and to Set Dates for Consolidated Amended Complaint (doc. # 15); and Plaintiffs' Ex Parte Motion for Reassignment, Consolidation, Designation of Lead Case, and Appointment of Interim Class Counsel (doc. # 16). Each side's Ex Parte Application is DENIED. Neither side demonstrates the urgency required to support ex parte relief. See Mission Power Eng'g Co v. Cont'l Cas. Co., 883 F. Supp. 488, 492 (C.D. Cal. 1995). For example, neither side has shown that their case will be "irreparably prejudiced" if the relief sought "is heard according to regular noticed motion procedures." Id.
