As the undersigned magistrate judge’s courtroom deputy, Rose Maher, is married to a partner
14 at Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps LLP (Plaintiff’s counsel’s law firm), the Court ordered the
15 parties to file a statement by May 31, 2012, regarding whether one or both parties wish to have the
16 undersigned magistrate judge recuse herself from this case. As the parties have not responded, the
17 Court ORDERS the parties to respond by June 21, 2012. Failure to respond may result in the
18 imposition of sanctions.
