This matter is set for a hearing on February 24, 2012 on Defendants’ motion to dismiss

Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint or, in the alternative, for summary judgment, and motion
17
to strike prayer for punitive damages. An opposition was due to be filed by Plaintiff by no later
18
than October 25, 2011. The Court has received no submission from Plaintiff.
19
Accordingly, Plaintiff is HEREBY ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE in writing no later
20
than January 20, 2012, as to why this case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute.
21
Failure to respond to this Order shall result in dismissal of this matter without prejudice.
