Defendants respectfully request a one week continuance of the hearing date for Plaintiff

Almy’s Motion for a Protective Order, Dkt No. 81, from Thursday, October 4 to Thursday,

October 11. Defendants have good cause for this motion as defense counsel has a previously
4
scheduled case management conference before Judge Alsup at 11:00 am on October 11 and
5
would like to consolidate the time and expense of traveling to the two matters. Defense counsel
6

consulted with counsel for Plaintiff Almy regarding this motion on September 6, 2012, and
8
Plaintiff Almy does not object to this motion or the proposed continuance set forth above. A
9
declaration and proposed order accompany this motion.
