LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY OF NORTH AMERICA, ORDER DENYING THE PARTIES’ REQUEST TO APPEAR BY TELEPHONE Defendant. / 16 17 The Court is in receipt of the parties’ request to attend the case management conference 18 by telephone. The courtroom’s equipment makes it impractical to hold hearings over the 19 telephone. This request must be DENIED. However, to assist counsel, the Court will issue a case 20 management order based on a review of the submission. If counsel have any disagreement with 21 the case management order, then they must attend the case management conference in person, 22 which will be, as presently scheduled, on APRIL 21, 2011, AT 3:00 P.M. Failing any objection, the 23 case management order as issued today will stand.
