In accordance with the Court’s Order at the Initial Case Management Conference on June

10, 2011 (see Dkt. No. 24), the parties have conferred regarding the possibility of consenting to a

United States Magistrate Judge in this action and have been unable to reach an agreement. The
4
parties may however be able to reach such an agreement pending discussions on other subjects,
5
including Plaintiff’s request for an earlier trial date and hereby respectfully request an extension
6
of time to file such a consent or declination to June 27, 2011.
