No. C 12-244 MEJ ORDER RE: PLAINTIFF’S AVAILABILITY 6 WELLS FARGO BANK, 7 8 9 Defendant. _____________________________________/ On May 10, 2012, Plaintiff Yohonia Martin emailed a notice to the Court’s ADR Unit that correspondence be directed to an email address, Plaintiff’s request is hereby 12 For the Northern District of California she is unable to be contacted directly at her mailing address, along with a request that all 11 UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT 10 GRANTED, on the condition that she first register as an Electronic Case Filing User on the Court’s 13 website. Specifically, Plaintiff must follow the registration procedure set forth at 14 Once Plaintiff completes the registration 15 procedure and receives an e-filing password from the ECF Help Desk, Plaintiff shall electronically 16 file a notice stating that the e-filing password has been received. If such notice is filed, Plaintiff may 17 thereafter file documents electronically. Thereafter, all correspondence from the Court and 18 Defendant Wells Fargo Bank shall be through Plaintiff’s email address and Defendant shall be 19 relieved of its duty to serve Plaintiff with paper copies of each electronically-filed document. 20 In addition to serving a paper copy of this Order, the Clerk of Court shall also email it to the 21 address above. However, Plaintiff is advised that the email address from which the Clerk shall send 22 the Order is not checked regularly and the Court is not considered on notice of a document if 23 Plaintiff emails to that address. Thus, until she registers as an e-filer, Plaintiff is expected to 24 continue to manually file any correspondence via the Clerk’s Office intake unit. Any questions shall 25 be directed to the Courtroom Deputy, Rose Maher, at (415) 522-4708. 26 27 28 IT IS SO ORDERED.
