Plaintiff Aliphcom and Defendant Bose Corporation, by and through their attorneys, jointly

request that the Court continue the Case Management Conference and the deadline to file a joint
20
Case Management Conference Statement by eight (8) weeks.

Plaintiff filed its Complaint in this case on December 10, 2012. Since then, the parties have
22
met in person to discuss settling this matter. Based on those ongoing settlement discussions,
23
Plaintiff has not served the Complaint. Accordingly, Defendant has neither filed an answer nor
24
otherwise appeared in this case. Plaintiff, however, is mindful of the deadline to serve its Complaint
25
on March 28, 2013, and will serve the Complaint before that deadline if the Parties have not resolved
26
their dispute.
