On December 17, 2014, the Court directed Plaintiff Asetek Danmark A/S and Defendant

CMI USA, Inc. to confer and to submit, by Thursday, January 8, 2015, a proposed schedule or
3
competing proposed schedules regarding briefing for the remainder of the case. To facilitate their
4
discussions, the parties request the Court’s guidance as to, among other things, whether the Court
5
wishes the parties to submit proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law (or other briefing) on
6
obviousness.

Accordingly, and in view of the parties’ deadline to submit their proposals by Thursday,
8
January 8, 2015, the parties jointly request a short telephone conference with the Court on or before
9
noon on January 8, 2015.
