HAIR CLUB FOR MEN, LLC, a Delaware corporation, and DOES 1 through 100, inclusive, REQUEST FOR RESPONSE RE PLAINTIFFS’ REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION Defendants. / 18 19 Plaintiffs sought to certify a class that would include employees that worked for Hair 20 Club from the start of the class period “until final judgment.” Plaintiffs aver that the alleged 21 wage-statement violations are ongoing. To avoid the practical challenges presented by 22 certifying an open-ended class that would encompass any new hire on a rolling basis, the order 23 certifying the class set the cutoff for the class period as May 27, 2015, the date of the complaint. 24 Plaintiffs seek to extend the class period to April 14, 2016, the date of the order certifying the 25 class. By NOON ON APRIL 21, Hair Club will please state whether it has any objection to 26 extending the class period as proposed by plaintiffs. 27 28 Dated: April 18, 2016. WILLIAM ALSUP UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE
