This federal civil rights action was dismissed because plaintiff failed to file an

12

amended complaint by the deadline. Now, nearly a year after the dismissal, plaintiff asks

13

for an extension of time, which the Court construes as a motion to reopen. (Dkt. No. 11.)

14

So construed, it is GRANTED. The action is REOPENED. The Clerk is directed to

15

modify the docket to reflect this. The judgment (Dkt. No. 10) and the order of dismissal

16

(Dkt. No. 9) are VACATED.

17

Plaintiff must file an amended complaint on or before April 9, 2018. Failure to do

18

so will result in the dismissal of this action for failure to prosecute. The amended

19

complaint must appear on this Court’s form and comply in all respects with the order

20

dismissing the original complaint with leave to amend. (Dkt. No. 8.)

21

The Clerk shall terminate Dkt. No. 11.
