ORDER DENYING ADMINISTRATIVE
MOTION TO SEAL CASE
v.
NOVARTIS CORPORATION,
Defendant.
/
16
17
Plaintiff has moved to seal this case, arguing that public records documenting her
18
lawsuit against her former employer have made it difficult for her to gain new employment.
19
See Motion (dkt. 20). The Court, after reviewing the relevant authorities, concludes that
20
Plaintiff has not overcome “the strong presumption in favor of access to court records.” See
21
Foltz v. State Farm Mut. Auto. Ins. Co., 331 F.3d 1122, 1137 (9th Cir. 2003). Plaintiff has
22
not establish that there are “compelling reasons” or even “good cause” to seal the public
23
documents at issue here, see id., and the Court DENIES the motion.
