ASUSTEK COMPUTER INC., et al., Re: Dkt. No. 1 Defendants. 12 13 In a related action pending before another court in this District, Plaintiff Avago 14 Technologies General IP (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“Avago”) brings claims of patent infringement 15 against Defendants Asustek Computer Inc. and Asus Computer International (“Asus”). Now 16 pending before the Court is Plaintiff’s motion to compel discovery from third party Advanced 17 Micro Devices, Inc. (“AMD”). (Dkt. No. 1.) Having considered the parties submissions, and 18 having had the benefit of oral argument on November 12, 2015, the Court GRANTS IN PART the 19 motion to compel. Specifically, the Court ORDERS AMD to produce by November 20, 2015, 20 technical documents on the AMD chips referred to in the September 21, 2015 email of AMD’s 21 Director of Litigation, Chris Jacobs. (See Dkt. No. 1-2 at 43.) In addition, Avago shall disclose to 22 AMD by close of business on November 13, 2015 the Asus products accused of infringement in 23 the underlying litigation.
