COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, et al., Defendants. / 16 17 On April 29, 2016, defendants County of Alameda, Nancy O’Malley, John Paul 18 Williams, and Eddie Bermudez electronically filed their “Reply Re Motion to Dismiss 19 Plaintiffs’ Complaint (FRCP Rule 12(b)(6)) and, in the Alternative, Motion for More Definite 20 Statement (FRCP Rule 12(e)),” and defendant Fernando Cubangbang electronically filed 21 his Reply “in Support of Request for Stay and Motion to Dismiss.” Defendants have 22 violated the Civil Local Rules of this District and the Court’s Standing Orders, however, by 23 failing “to provide for chambers a paper copy of each document that is electronically filed 24 . . . marked ‘Chambers Copy’.” See Civil L.R. 5-1(e)(7); see also Standing Orders For Civil 25 Cases Assigned to The Honorable Maxine M. Chesney ¶ 2. 26 Defendants are hereby ORDERED to comply with Civil Local Rule 5-1(e)(7) and the 27 Court’s Standing Orders by immediately submitting chambers copies of the above- 28 referenced documents. Defendants are hereby advised that if they fail in the future to 1 comply with the Court’s Standing Orders to provide a chambers copy of each electronically 2 filed document, the Court may impose sanctions, including, but not limited to, striking from 3 the record any electronically filed document for which a chambers copy has not been timely 4 provided to the Court. 5 6 IT IS SO ORDERED.
