(collectively, “Defendants”) (collectively together, the “Parties”) hereby stipulate and request as follows: WHEREAS the Parties have been engaged in settlement discussions since the Court’s hearing on June 8, 2017; WHEREAS, in light of those settlement discussions, the Parties agreed to extend the deadline for Defendants’ Answers to Plaintiffs’ First Amended Complaint from August 9, 2017, to August 30, 2017; Case No. 3:16-cv-07396 28 ActiveUS 164623769v.1 JOINT STIPULATION TO EXTEND THE DEADLINE FOR DEFENDANTS TO FILE ANSWERS TO PLAINTIFF’S FIRST AMENDED COMPLAINT 1 WHEREAS, on August 10, 2017, the Court entered an Order granting this extension; 2 WHEREAS the Parties are still engaged in settlement discussions and believe that a further 3 4 extension will benefit those discussions; and WHEREAS this extension is not made for purposes of delay, but so that justice may be done; 5 6 7 8 9 10 IT IS HEREBY STIPULATED AND AGREED that the Parties respectfully request that the time for Defendants to file answers to Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint be extended to and including September 15, 2017.
