Martinez, attorney for Defendants MAXXAM Inc. and Charles Hurwitz (collectively, "Defendants"), that: WHEREAS, Paragraph 3 of this Court's Order for Pretrial Preparation provides that the parties shall file a Joint Pretrial Conference Statement and related trial materials not less than 10 days prior to the Pretrial Conference; WHEREAS, by Order dated March 24, 2009, this Court postponed the Pretrial Conference from April 7 to April 10, 2009; and WHEREAS, the parties request additional time to meet and confer and finalize their pretrial submissions. NOW, THEREFORE, counsel for the parties hereby stipulate and request that the Court enter an order as follows: 1. The deadline for the parties to file the materials set forth in Paragraph 3 of the Court's Order for Pretrial Preparation1 shall be extended from March 27 to March 31, 2009. The parties respectfully request that the Court approve this Stipulation.
