13
On March 5, 2013, Plaintiffs moved to modify the case
14
management schedule by extending the fact discovery cut-off.
15
Defendants contend that this extension is unnecessary because the
16
only discovery requests they have yet to answer are currently at
17
issue in a pending motion to compel before Magistrate Judge Corley
18
(and, if Judge Corley grants that motion, Defendants will have to
19
respond to those discovery requests with or without an extension
20
of the discovery cut-off).
21
motion to modify the discovery schedule to Judge Corley.
22
Judge Corley is more familiar with the parties’ recent discovery
23
disputes and will soon be deciding the pending motion to compel,
24
she will be better able to decide whether an extension of the
25
current discovery cut-off is justified.
26
The Court therefore refers Plaintiffs’
Because
Judge Corley is authorized to extend the discovery cut-off
27
and any other deadlines that will not affect current court dates.
28
If Judge Corley finds that other court dates should be changed,
1
she may so recommend.
2
11, 2013 is hereby VACATED.
3
IT IS SO ORDERED.
