United States District Court For the Northern District of California 10 JOHNSON & JOHNSON, et al., 11 Defendants. ________________________________/ 12 13 On March 5, 2013, Plaintiffs moved to modify the case 14 management schedule by extending the fact discovery cut-off. 15 Defendants contend that this extension is unnecessary because the 16 only discovery requests they have yet to answer are currently at 17 issue in a pending motion to compel before Magistrate Judge Corley 18 (and, if Judge Corley grants that motion, Defendants will have to 19 respond to those discovery requests with or without an extension 20 of the discovery cut-off). 21 motion to modify the discovery schedule to Judge Corley. 22 Judge Corley is more familiar with the parties’ recent discovery 23 disputes and will soon be deciding the pending motion to compel, 24 she will be better able to decide whether an extension of the 25 current discovery cut-off is justified. 26 The Court therefore refers Plaintiffs’ Because Judge Corley is authorized to extend the discovery cut-off 27 and any other deadlines that will not affect current court dates. 28 If Judge Corley finds that other court dates should be changed, 1 she may so recommend. 2 11, 2013 is hereby VACATED. 3 IT IS SO ORDERED.
