Before the court is plaintiff Petroliam Nasional Berhad’s motion to strike the
16
affirmative defenses alleged by defendant GoDaddy.com, and defendant’s motion for leave
17
to file an amended answer. Having read the parties’ papers and carefully considered their
18
arguments and the relevant legal authorities, and good cause appearing, the court hereby
19
DENIES plaintiff’s motion to strike, which has been mooted by the filing of defendant’s
20
motion for leave to amend its answer; and GRANTS defendant’s motion. The amended
21
answer shall be filed no later than August 3, 2011.

The date for the hearing on the motions, previously set for August 10, 2011, is
VACATED.
