JANET NAPOLITANO, TIMOTHY AIKEN and ERIC HOLDER, JR., Respondents. / 14 15 16 On November 19, 2010, Petitioners filed a petition for a writ 17 of habeas corpus seeking an order directing the Board of 18 Immigration Appeal (BIA) to reissue its March 6, 2006 certification 19 decision and order, which would permit Petitioners to file a timely 20 petition for judicial review. 21 issued an order enjoining Respondents from removing Petitioners 22 until the habeas petition was resolved. 23 Respondents filed a status report stating that, on March 14, 2011, 24 the BIA reissued its March 6, 2006 decision. 25 March 14, 2011 order is submitted with the status report. 26 Respondents request dismissal of this action and dissolution of the 27 stay order because Petitioners have now received the relief they 28 sought in their petition. On November 22, 2010, the Court On April 27, 2011, A copy of the BIA’s Petitioners have not filed a response to 1 2 this request. Because Petitioners have received the relief they requested in 3 their petition, the petition is now moot and is dismissed and the 4 November 22, 2010 stay order is dissolved. 5 shall close this case.
