SMITH, 5 Plaintiff, 6 v. 7 PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE, et al., 8 Defendants. / 9 United States District Court For the Northern District of California 10 ORDER GRANTING PLAINTIFF EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE CERTIFICATE OF FUNDS AND PRISONER TRUST ACCOUNT STATEMENT Plaintiff, a state prisoner, filed this pro se civil rights 11 action under 42 U.S.C. ยง 1983. 12 Court sent Plaintiff a notice directing him to pay the filing fee 13 or to file a completed in forma pauperis (IFP) application. 14 On that same date, the Clerk of the Plaintiff has filed a request for an extension of time to file 15 a completed IFP application. 16 Plaintiff's request, and good cause appearing, 17 Having read and considered IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Plaintiff's request for an extension 18 of time is GRANTED. 19 completed IFP application will be extended up to and including 20 thirty (30) days from the date of this Order. 21 The time in which Plaintiff may file a Failure to file a completed IFP application by the thirty-day 22 deadline as ordered shall result in the dismissal of this 23 action without prejudice. 24 This Order terminates Docket no. 4. 25 IT IS SO ORDERED. 26 27 28 Dated: 1/9/2012 CLAUDIA WILKEN UNITED STATES DISTRICT JUDGE
