SAN FRANCISCO POLICE DEPARTMENT, et al., Defendants. ________________________________/ 10 United States District Court For the Northern District of California On February 26, 2013, the parties filed a joint case 11 management statement that identifies by name the minor friend of 12 Plaintiff Rachel Guido’s son. Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 13 5.2(a) provides that the name of any “individual known to be a 14 minor” must be redacted from publicly filed court documents. 15 Because the parties here failed to abide by Rule 5.2 in filing 16 their joint case management statement, the document has been 17 stricken and removed from the docket. Defendants’ Answer, which 18 similarly identifies the minor individual by name, has also been 19 stricken and removed from the docket. 20 The parties shall redact the minor individual’s name from 21 their joint case management statement and re-file the document. 22 Defendants shall redact the minor individual’s name from their 23 Answer and re-file the document.
