On December 14, 2016, Plaintiff submitted a letter brief, signed by Plaintiff rather than his 13 attorneys, in opposition to Defendant’s motion to dismiss. Dkt. No. 75. On February 21, 2017, 14 the Court issued an order directing Plaintiff’s counsel to show cause why this purported pro se 15 opposition was filed and what the status of Plaintiff’s representation was in the current action. 16 Dkt. No. 82. Plaintiff’s counsel failed to respond. 17 The Court ORDERS Plaintiff’s counsel to show cause why they should not be sanctioned 18 for failing to respond.
