Case No (09M153I RS (PSG)
1
Pursuant to Civil Local Rules 7-1 1 and 79-5, Apple Inc. ("Apple") requests that,
2
for the reasons stated herein, the Court issue an Order sealing the following documents submitted
3
on May 3, 2011:
4
1.
The April 29, 2011 Final Initial and Recommended Determination of the United
5
States International Trade Commission in Investigation No. 337-TA-7 14, attached as Exhibit A to
6
Apple's May 3, 2011 letter to the Court.
7
The April 29, 2011 Final Determination of the United States International Trade
8
Commission includes the confidential business information of both Apple and Elan relating to the
9
operation of Apple's products and to Elan's business practices, and has been designated
10
accordingly by the International Trade Commission.
11
Support of Administrative Motion to File Under Seal The ITC's Initial Determination ¶f 2-3.
12
Apple's request is thus narrowly tailored to seek the sealing of only sealable material. For the
13
foregoing reasons, Apple respectfully requests that the Court grant Apple's Administrative
14
Motion To File Under Seal. For the Court's convenience, a Proposed Order has been filed and
15
served herewith.
