Case Number C 09-02579 JF (HRL) ORDER1 GRANTING DEFENDANTS' MOTION TO TRANSFER VENUE On April 21, 2009, Plaintiff Kwong Hiu Yung ("Plaintiff") filed the instant employment and defamation action in the Santa Clara Superior Court. The action involves events that occurred in the state of New York. On June 10, 2009, Defendants Yodle, Inc. ("Yodle") and Administaff Comapnies II, L.P. ("Administaff") removed the case to this Court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §1446(a) on the basis of diversity of citizenship. On June 24, 2009, Defendants moved to transfer venue to the Southern District of New York, primarily on the ground that the facts alleged in the complaint arose in that district. Plaintiff does not oppose the motion. Accordingly, the Court, pursuant to Civil Local Rule 71(b), will grant the motion without oral argument.
