Petitioner, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus

18

pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On January 27, 2011, the court granted respondent’s motion to

19

dismiss and entered judgment. Petitioner subsequently submitted two filings, one on July 29,

20

2011 and another on September 8, 2011. The court construed the July 29, 2011 letter, as a

21

motion to reopen the time for appeal, and granted the motion on September 23, 2011.

22

Petitioner’s filing on September 8, 2011, requesting clarification and an extension of time is

23

therefore DENIED as moot.

This order terminates docket number 24.
